Former CTO of Datek Online Releases First Chapter of Book, "Broken Trades"

On the heels of the release of Scott Patterson's book, "Dark Pools," Peter Stern makes the first chapter of his book available. He would give it away for free but he can't figure out how.

Peter Stern and I have often talked about the need for someone in the industry to write a book about the origins of electronic trading in equity markets. On the heels of the release of Scott Patterson's book, "Dark Pools," Peter has made the first chapter of his book available.

Peter's post from Facebook:

The book about Josh is coming out tomorrow. Dark Pools by Scott Patterson. Go buy it if you want to read about what Josh was doing in the '90s. Its pretty good if you like that kind of book.

I had to charge some money because i could not figure out how to give it away. Sorry. If you buy it, I'll mail you back $1. Or we can give it to Karen's kids...
